Denmark is actively involved in the international co-operation to increase the transparency and description of qualifications:

Increasing transparency is crucial to facilitating international mobility in education and on the labour market. Transparency is a main objective of the Copenhagen Declaration on vocational education and training and of the Bologna Declaration on a European higher education area.

Europass provides the common European framework for transparency and description of qualifications, encompassing Europass CV, Europass Language Passport, Europass Certificate Supplement, Europass Diploma Supplement and Europass Mobility.
