NRP network

In each EU/EEA country there is a reference point which provides information on vocational qualifications in order to promote transparency, mobility and mutual recognition.

NRP stands for National Reference Point. The network of National Reference Points has been established on the initiative of the European Commission, The European Forum on Transparency of Vocational Qualifications and the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, CEDEFOP. The network is made up of national reference points in all EU and EEA member states as well as the associated countries.

The NRP Network aims to promote transparency, mobility and mutual recognition of vocational qualifications in Europe, offering the same type of services in relation to vocational education and training as the NARIC and ENIC centres do in relation to higher education.

As a national reference point the Danish Agency for International Education (previously CIRIUS) provides information about the Danish vocational education and training system and establishes contact with national bodies within the network.
