Seeking admission to an unemployment fund
Some unemployment funds require a foreign education assessment before admitting new members. We recommend that you ask the unemployment fund if they require such an assessment in order to admit you.
Admission is always subject to the admission criteria of the individual unemployment fund. However, unemployment fund must consider your educational qualifications on the basis of an assessment by the Danish Agency for International Education (previously CIRIUS) if such an assessment has been made.
This means that if the centre has assessed your qualifications to be comparable to a particular Danish level of education, your application for admission cannot be rejected on the grounds that you have not completed a qualification at the level in question.
If you want an assessment, you must apply to the Danish Agency for International Education:
