Seeking employment
You may find an assessment from the Danish Agency for International Education helpful when looking for a job. However, if your profession is regulated you may need authorisation by the competent body.
You can get an assessment of your non-Danish qualification by sending an application to the Danish Agency for International Education:
What can the assessment be used for?
When you apply for a job, our assessment can make your qualifications easier to understand for the Danish employer.
An assessment does not guarantee that you will obtain employment: It is up to the individual employers to decide whether they can use the educational qualifications and the occupational experience you have achieved outside Denmark.
However, if the employer is a Danish public authority, it is required to base its decision on our assessment as far as the level of your foreign qualifications is concerned.
Working in a regulated profession
If your profession is regulated in Denmark you need authorisation or similar approval before you can work on a permanent basis.
