This folder provides an overview of the Danish education system; from primary and lower secondary education to higher education and adult education and training. Issues such as career guidance, quality assurance and internationalisation are also covered in the folder.

Guidance of Adults in the EU (2009).
A catalogue that offers examples of European co-operation projects, which have developed new methods and materials for adult guidance. It features short descriptions of the contents and results of the projects that we hope will inspire new co-operations and projects with Danish participants.

Guidance in Education - the educational guidance system in Denmark (2008). Guidance in Education provides an overview of the key elements of the Danish guidance reform and the Danish guidance system in the educational sector. The new system became operational 1 August 2004 when two new types of independent guidance centres were introduced and the Ministry's national guidance portal was launched.

Ethics in Guidance. Ethical Guidelines for Educational and Vocational Guidance (Translation: Inge Langberg Kjær and Birgitte Immersen Kristensen. – Copenhagen: The Danish National Council for Educational and Vocational Guidance, 2003). Ethics in Guidance is an English translation of the Danish ethical guidelines for educational and vocational guidance, which were adopted by the National Council for Educational and Vocational Guidance in May 1995.
