The representation of the Danish Agency for International Education in international networks

The Danish Agency for International Education is a member of many international networks.

Eurodesk

Eurodesk is a European network of information services in 28 countries providing a unique access to European information for young people and those who work with them.

The Eurodesk network receives ongoing support from the European Commission through the Commission's Youth in Action programme, which is operated by the Directorate General for Education and Culture.

Recognition

  • Higher education: We are part of the ENIC/NARIC networks as well as a network of Nordic ENIC/NARIC offices: NORRIC.

  • Vocational education and training: We are a part of the European network of National Reference Points.

  • Professional recognition/regulated professions: We serve as the Danish coordinator and contact point for the EU directive on the recognition of professional qualifications.

Eurydice

  • Eurydice – EU's information network on education in Europe

The information network on education in Europe, Eurydice has since 1980 been one of the strategic mechanisms established by the European Commission and Member States to boost cooperation, by improving understanding of systems and policies.

Since 1995, Eurydice has also been an integral part of Socrates, the Community action programme in education.
Eurydice is an institutional network for gathering, monitoring, processing and circulating reliable and readily comparable information on education systems and policies throughout Europe.
Eurydice covers the education systems of the Member States of the European Union, the three countries of the European Free Trade Association which are members of the European Economic Area, and the EU candidate countries involved in the Socrates Programme.

ReferNet

ReferNet is a European decentralised network for collection and dissemination of information about vocational education and training.

The network has been established by Cedefop. More information at: www.refernet.dk.

Europass

Denmark participates in the international cooperation of the Europass Framework, and the Agency is the Danish Europass Centre. More information at Cedefop.
